09/09/2025 I broke a tooth on May 3, and saw my dentist (Sala Family Dentistry) on May 5 at 7 am. Dr. Dolan referred me to your office, but couldn't get through on a Monday so left a message. She gave me a discount card which indicated the whole procedure would be reduced to $2995. I didn't hear from your office, so called myself on 5/8 and made an appointment for 6/27. Your office called a week later to tell me they had the referral but I was already scheduled. I received a call from your office in June informing me that the visit had to be postponed and was scheduled for 7/18. I was seen for the consultation on 7/18 and was impressed by your clinical staff. I was then left in another room for 20 minutes waiting for the treatment plan. I was told there would be an additional fee of $1475 which was not covered by the coupon. I was scheduled for a pre-op phone consult on Friday the 15th at 4 pm. Someone from the Redding office called at 1:30 pm. I was with my own scheduled patients then and missed the call. I stopped by the office at 4 pm and it was taken care of. The surgery was done on Thursday the 21st. There were no problems and I had little discomfort. On the 22nd I was to have a temporary crown placed. I was presented with a bill for $5070. When I questioned the math, it was reduced to $4470, which I paid. I was then told the temporary crown couldn't be placed. I was given a mouthguard type retainer and was refunded $500. Now, I was referred to your office on May 5th with the hope that by having the extraction and implant done the same day it would save me time. My permanent crown is scheduled for placement on December 1. That's 7 months, much longer than I have waited for implants + crowns in the past. I also paid $1080 more the the discount coupon promised which seems to be at least deceptive practice. While I am very pleased with the results of the surgery, I think you should review your internal communication practices and clarify your billing issues.
